It is tying up with wholesale telecom service provider, ETN Singapore, to build a new international mobile telecom operator through Mobile Virtual Network Operator agreements in Singapore and across the region. The 50-50 joint venture, totalling S$1 million, will target the estimated 2 million Vietnamese expatriates living outside the country. VNPT expects to capture up to half of this market. The company is currently in talks with Singapore's three main telcos, and expects to launch its services here within six months.
